PRESS RELEASE

CLARIFICATION ON PROPOSED ASUP STRIKE

I wish to use this medium to intimate students on the proposed strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic (ASUP) slated to commence nationwide from Tuesday 6th April, 2021.

It is indeed true that our prestigious institution is also part of the Union but I wish to state explicitly clear that we WON'T be joining the proposed strike action.

The school is currently observing her Easter break and normal academic activities will resume upon approval from the academic board.

Students are adviced to desist from spreading further false information across social media platforms.

Thank you!

Signed

Comr Akaninyene Akpan
