The police in Akwa Ibom is said to have taken the corpses to the mortuary.

The Students Union Vice President of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Comrade Vivian Otije has sent a condolence Message to the family of one of the student who lost his life on his way to NYSC.
In a press release from her, it states;

Just when we thought it was over, we are faced again with the passing away of another vibrant student who had just finished his HND in our prestigious citadel of learning, Late Comrade Victor Akpan.
The deceased until his death was an indigene of Ikono Local Government Area and a graduate of the Department of Mass Communication. What is very painful is that the deceased finished Higher National Diploma, on his way to NYSC, but today the story is different. Quite sad.
We are sad that you've not fulfilled your life ambition on Earth but who are we to question God who knows all things. We simply pray and ask that your soul rests in peace, Amen!
I condole with the family of the deceased over this irreplaceable loss.

An Uyo based lady has been arrested by men of the Nigerian Police Force for killing her boyfriend and escaping with his Mercedes Benz 4matic and the car papers.
The victim identified as Chukwuemeka, according to a journalist Comrade Vincent Aluu, is the only son of the parents and was an importer of goods.
All efforts made by his business associates to reach the decease to come and clear his consignments proved abortive and they were forced to look for his whereabout, as such has never happened before.
The late Chukwuemeka was later found in his pool of blood inside his bedroom.
Using the vehicle tracker, the accused was traced to a nearby hotel where she went for leisure.
According to reports, she is singing like a parrot at Ewet Housing Police Station as you read this!

The Special Adviser on Media to National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Tunde Rahman, has denied media reports claiming his principal is dead or hospitalized abroad.
There were reports online on Saturday, July 31 claiming the former Lagos state governor is receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment in a hospital abroad.
In a statement released, Rahman dismissed the rumor saying Tinubu is hale and hearty.
The statement reads
“His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is fine. He is hale and hearty. He is not in any hospital. He has no medical problem that would require hospitalisation.
Yes, he is out of the country at the moment. He will be back shortly. Anytime he travels out of the country, the next thing some mischievous people would say is he is sick, hospitalized, or has died.
It is shameful that perpetrators of this evil are not deterred by the fact that each time this fake news has been propagated, they have been proven wrong.

Some officers of the Nigeria Police have decried an alleged neglect by the authorities, saying they sent them out without arms and ammunition to face criminals.
In a trending video, one of the policemen lamented that the government and police authorities seemed to be culpable as they warned them not to engage the bandits.
“Enough is enough. They are playing politics with people’s lives. They took us into this bush without armour, without ammunition. We are to comb this particular area within the twinkle of seconds (sic). How many bandits are in this bush?

Two men are alleged to have mutually agreed to exchange their wives as a way of settling their differences after details of infidelity was revealed.
Josh Odour and Sakis from Busia County in western Kenya, traded wives and their children after Sakis and Odour’s wife decided to make their secret affair public.
According to KDRTV, Odour first heard that his wife was cheating with Sakis but he did not believe it.
However, he was later shocked to find his wife at Sakis’ place cleaning the dishes. The wife then told him there that she had moved on with the Boda Boda operator.
In retaliation, Oduor is alleged to have lured Sakis’ wife who had gone back to her parent’s home and convinced her to get married to him. The lady agreed and the two even went to inform the police about their new unions.
Odour says he is already eager to impregnate his new wife as supplement for the two she has. He added that he will do this because he was used to having three children in the house.
However, on his rival, Odour said he will have to wait a little bit longer if he wanted a kid from his new wife as she was on a long family planning method.

A Facebook User, Julius Eze has returned a money which was mistakenly sent to his account on 11th June 2021.
"N2.5m was mistakenly transferred to my account 🥰😁", he said in his first post.
In another post he made, he shared the screenshot of the alert he received on different days and as well promised to return the money to the rightful owner, "Alert received on Friday night 500k✅
Saturday morning 1m✅ and another 1m✅.
Totaling 2.5m as you can see on the screenshot 😁. Tomorrow morning I will be transferring the 2.5m to the rightful owner.
Deposit slip will be posted here as early as tomorrow morning", his post states.
Julius later went to the bank to know whom the money came from, contacted the person and sent back the back,
"I dey bank!
It's not my money
Late Friday evening and early Saturday morning, I received alert totaling N2.5m into my access account, few hours later I was able to trace the owner.
Contacted him and asked him for his details so I can pay in the money today, after due questions and investigations which confirmed the money belonged to him.

Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, James Brown has announced to his fans that he’s set to give his life to Christ and turn a new leaf.
According to the transvestite, he made the decision to let go of his old way of life after he was made to see a revelation of heaven while on his sick bed.
James noted that his trip to heaven made him realize how much that God truly loves and wants him to be at peace with everyone.
Speaking further, a born again James Brown disclosed that he has forgiven everyone he had a brawl with.

The minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed, says the country’s security challenges are a consequence of the 1975 coup d’état.
The coup, which took place on July 29, 1975, overthrew Yakubu Gowon and brought Murtala Muhammed to power.
Speaking in an interview with Channels Television on Monday, April 26, Mohammed said the lead discussant at the town-hall meeting on national security organised by the federal government narrated how the Gowon government was planning to ensure free and compulsory primary education for children of school age.
According to him, “The fact is that in 1973, we were informed by the lead discussant and that the government of the day then had a retreat and said there must be a national pledge that what is that thing that we must do to ensure that we did not go through another civil war. The government of that day came out with a decision that what will prevent another civil war is to ensure that anybody born after January 1970 has free and compulsory primary education.
Regrettably that administration was overthrown two years later and all the lofty ideas and all the preparations that were needed to ensure that every child of school age acquired free and compulsory education were jettisoned. And we are paying the price today because if you have 13.2 million children of school-age out of school that is the market which Boko Haram, bandits, IPOB and other militants, that is the market where they recruit people.”
The minister said it was consequently resolved at the town-hall meeting that all three levels of government “must ensure that we go back to that and ensure at least free primary education for the first nine years for each child.”

Olasupo Ajani, the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 11, has appealed to Nigerians to stop attacking the personnel of the force and see them as brothers and sisters.
Ajani made the appeal on Tuesday, April 27, during a stakeholders’ meeting and his familiarisation visit to the police command in Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, he said, “You stakeholders that are here as representatives of the people; please sensitise your people and let us go back to the way we were before the EndSARS protests. EndSARS has created a sort of vacuum and we want to reclaim the space again and be closer to the people; any police that want to be successful must have the support of the people. We must cooperate and work together for peace to reign in this country.”

The founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has urged Nigerians not to give up on the country, saying Nigeria would fly again.
Speaking with journalists at his church on Sunday April 25, the clergyman said, “What God does for an individual He does it for the family, and what He does for the community, He can do for the country. Nigeria has overtaken the Democratic Republic of Congo with 25 percent of people without access to electricity, making it the country globally with the highest number of citizens that lack access to power.
World Bank Group Practice Manager, West and Central Africa Energy, Ashish Khanna, disclosed this in his presentation during a virtual engagement with power reporters in Abuja on Wednesday, April 21.
According to him, “Nigeria now has the largest number of unelectrified people globally and the trend is worsening; of the electrified, the supply is very unreliable with widespread blackouts.
Electrification, which was growing at 1.1% yearly since 2010, has not kept pace with the population growth of 3% yearly. This has increased the deficit by 3 million people to 85m which is 57% of the population. Nigeria now has 25% more unelectrified people than the 2nd most unelectrified country (DRC – in absolute terms).
The power sector is operationally inefficient with unreliable supply exacerbated by high losses and lack of payment discipline. Businesses in Nigeria lose about $29 billion annually because of unreliable electricity while Nigerian utilities get paid for only a half of electricity they receive.”

Miss Folashade Salako, the best graduating student in the department of Pharmacy in 2019 from the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), has died after sustaining head injury in a car crash.
According to reports, Folashade, who won the maiden Shalina’s international Young Pharmacist Award as the best graduating student, died on Wednesday, April 21.
It was gathered that she died during an operation at University College Hospital (UCH), in Ibadan, Oyo State.

A 200-level student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Adedeji Emmanuel, has reportedly committed suicide.
The Chief Security Officer of the school, Babatunde Oyatokun, in a statement on Tuesday evening, April 20, said Emmanuel died after he took a poisonous substance. He was said to have left a suicide note.
Although it’s unclear why Emmanuel took the decision, some sources close to him revealed he has been battling depression after a failed business deal.
