The government of Anambra state shuts down the motel where allegedly students were seen in public having sex.

A section of a hotel in Awka, Anambra State, where a sex party is claimed to have taken place last weekend, has had activities suspended by the Anambra government.

A guy and female were seen having sex in public in front of everyone at the party. The step was taken, according to Donatus Onyenji, Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment, and Tourism, who signed the seal order dated September 8, to allow the government and security authorities to carry out more investigations into the situation. 

In accordance with the 2016 Anambra State Tourism and Hospitality Law, he said, this action was taken. The social media video of live sex and pornography (a sex party) that took place on September 3 in a public area of your hotel or facility has caught our attention. No hotel in Anambra should tolerate these or other impure operational standards and unholy public displays of obscenity.

Government of Anambra hereby directs the management of Wintess Garden Hotel to shut down operations pending further investigations and review of the application.'' the statement read
