Jilted Man Undresses Ex-Lover 

In a highly disturbing incident, a jilted man attacked his ex-lover and undressed her before proceeding to tear her panties in public.
Online publication  ibomtv reports that 25-year-old Pardon Madziwaidze of Penhalonga was arrested and charged with indecent assault.
When Madziwaidze appeared before magistrate Artwell Sanyatwe, he readily pleaded guilty to all charges. In trying to explain his actions, Madziwaidze claimed that he had acted out of anger and begged the court to be lenient with him.
However, the magistrate would have none of this and sentenced him to 12 months in prison. 6 months were suspended from the sentence on condition that Madziwaidze does not commit a similar offense in the next five years. This means that he will serve an effective 6 months in prison.
During the trial, the court heard that on August 7, Madziwaidze was at a tuck shop in Liverpool, Mutasa when he happened to see his ex-lover Valentine Mashanda passing by.
Madziwaidze who was angry about the way the pair’s relationship had ended, accosted Mashanda and forcefully inserted his hands into her while she was resisting.
Mashanda tried to fight him off, but Madziwadze was too powerful. He proceeded to forcefully remove Mashanda’s panties which he, later on, tore in full view of the public.
Mashanda reported the assault to the police, leading to Madziwaidze’s arrest.
In Zimbabwe, the crime of indecent assault carries a sentence of imprisonment for a period not exceeding two years or a level seven fine or both.
