 American Hopes On Microsoft  To Buy Tik Tok To Prevent The Ban

American hopes are on the much anticipated Microsoft deal to buy Tik Tok shares in America on a race to curb Trump’s ban of the Chinese owned music-video app from the US soil on national security grounds.
Recent Trump statement to effect a ban on the app from the US following concerns about data collection has caused a huge panic on American profiles who had made fortunes from and gained so much following from the entertainment application.
This has also initiated a trend on the microblogging site Twitter where users are humorously trying to convince Trump not to ban the popular app.
The move to ban it from the US soil was sparked by security concerns over massive amounts of data the Chinese based company has and is collecting from America where the app has been downloaded more than 165 million times.
Luckily as it may be, Microsoft Corp, the software giant revealed it was undergoing closed-door talks with both Tik Tok and the US government to facilitate the sale of its operations from four countries, U.S., as well as in Canada, Australia and New Zealand in a bid to curb the ban.
Experts have alluded to the fact that if the Microsoft – Tik Tok deal was to come to pass, the customer data that the US is so much concerned about would reside on US-owned and operated infrastructure under its laws and regulations.
Though in a statement, Microsoft’s didn’t explicitly say whether Trump would approve an agreement and forgo a TikTok ban or Tik Tok had agreed on the sale, there is hope in Americans that Trump and his administrations would sway.
