Rich Mnisi Reveals 2K Mask

Now, Bonang Matheba did tell Mzansi that Rich Mnisi's clothing does come with a hefty price tag but the price of his face mask still has Mzansi shook.

Rich Mnisi has debuted five luxury masks called  ALKEBULAN, meaning "mother of mankind" - an ancient name of Africa.

The masks range from R399 with the most expensive being R1999.

Influencer Sarah Langa modelled the masks, which have become necessary in South Africa due to the coronavirus.
"The Azania face mask range is an extension to the Rich Mnisi ALKEBULAN collection which we launched earlier this year before the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak. The wearing of masks are a preventive measure and a new standard to how we need to live moving forward," the designer told the publication.

The most expensive mask which retails for R1999 is the Swarovski Crystals Cherry Leopard mask.

A certain percentage from the proceeds of the sale will be donated to charities affected by Covid-19.
The price of the masks has sent shockwaves on social media, with some noting they are just not the target market.
Mzansi designer such as MaXhosa released a mask range which retails for R600 and Gert-Johan Coetzee's range of masks retail between  R180 - R380.
